Сold brew this is not iced coffee

Sometimes you can't do without iced coffee in the Philippines, but how do you make it? So here are your questions and answers about cold brew.

What's that thing called cold brew?

It's coffee that's made in cold water or room temperature for 12 to 24 hours, and because it's made in cold water, it's a little smoother and has a more rounded flavor.

How to make cold brew?

The grounds should be placed on the bottom of a bottle and filled with cold water after the coffee-to-water ratio is approximately 1:8. For 18 to 24 hours, stir gently until smooth, cover, and leave in or out of the refrigerator. After brewing, strain into a large bowl through a sieve to remove any coarse grounds.

*add milk before use

What's the storage period for cold brew?

The coffee concentrate may be kept for a period of up to 2 weeks when it is properly refrigerated in an airtight container such as a tight seal mason jar. Beans, how finicky you are with the process, and the equipment you use often determine the quality of your cold brew.

What is the amount required to make iced coffee?

It is subjective and depends on your taste to determine the ratio of coffee grounds to water. Firstly, chop up a 3/4 cup of beans into 4 cups of cold water that is approximately the size of a 32-ounce press. Depending on the size of your container, you can add 1.5 cups of beans to 8 cups of water or more than that.

Who invented cold brew?

Todd Simpson. He had seen an improbable way of brewing coffee in cold water on a visit to Peru in 1963, and that was why he invented Toddy's Cold Brewing Station when he came home.
